Office of Research 

Research at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) extends well beyond oral health care, affecting many other areas of human health. Our scientists perform basic and clinical research in a wide range of areas, from prevention of caries and periodontal disease to potential therapies for cancer, autoimmune diseases and drug-resistant illness. Our office promotes and coordinates research programs and assists faculty in identifying external funding sources. It also supports several student research efforts, including summer programs and The Rutgers Journal of Dental Medicine, which is written, edited and peer-reviewed by students.
