RSDM Researcher Receives $7.2 Million from Military to Fight Drug-Resistant Bacteria

With help from a cooperative agreement for up to $7.2 million from the U.S. military, researcher Daniel Kadouri of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine is at the forefront of the race to fight drug-resistant bacteria. Kadouri is the principal investigator of a project that examines the therapeutic potential of two types of predatory bacteria that kill germs that have developed a resistance to antibiotics.Read more about Kadouri's research in this Rutgers Today story and in the science journal Nature.
