Orofacial Pain From a Medical Perspective
Learn the latest in Orofacial Pain Diagnosis and Management online from the comfort of your home or office.
The field of Orofacial Pain is slowly transitioning from a dental viewpoint to a medical perspective, and this course is designed to aid in the process.
The course is based on the highly successful Internet Course: Orofacial Pain Beyond TMD, which was created to help those practitioners who wanted to learn more about neuropathic, neurovascular (headaches), and musculoskeletal disorders that affect the head and neck. Chapters from an up-to-date syllabus written by the faculty specifically for this course will be available for downloading and printing. Accompanying each chapter are study guideline questions with detailed answers.
This course will be interactive. Zoom conferences will enable participants to interact with the faculty and review the material in the syllabus and respond to case presentations.
Objectives:
- To provide you with an understanding of orofacial pain and the use of pharmacotherapy
- To enhance your ability to diagnose and manage orofacial pain patients
Participants who pass the final examination will receive a credit letter for 96 hours of continuing education and a Certificate of Completion from the Division of Orofacial Pain. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
Past participants have given this program excellent reviews. Faculty members are recognized nationally and internationally as leaders in the field of orofacial pain.
