Required Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Minimum of three (3) years of experience practicing general dentistry Ability to independently perform root canal therapy Active and unrestricted New York State dental license DEA registration (or eligibility) Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnoses Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide general dentistry procedures, including restorations, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canal therapy Utilize advanced digital technology for diagnosis, treatment planning, and same-day restorations

Overview of Terrery Dental: 

Terrery Dental has proudly served Northeast Pennsylvania for over 30 years, building a trusted reputation and an active patient base of 7,000+ patients. Our practice operates from a brand-new, 3,960 sq ft state-of-the-art facility featuring 9 active operatories with capacity to expand by an additional 5 operatories, creating an exciting environment for growth, clinical excellence, and long-term opportunity.

• Snapshot of the Role & Responsibilities: 
• Position: Associate Dentist (Full-Time) •Schedule: 5 days/week minimum with option for 6 days/week 
• Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am – 5:00pm | Fri 8:00am – 2:00pm | Sat 8:00 – 1:00pm Interview Process: 
• Initial conversation to confirm goals, clinical interests, and practice fit 
• Paid working interview conducted over 2–3-week period (minimum of 2 days/ week in office)

SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION (varies based on location and experience): 

• Average earning potential $250,000-$550,000 (Including New Graduates!). 
• Daily minimum guarantee of $800 - $1,000. · 30-35% of production paid on everything including X-rays (plus locational % premiums).

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. · 
• Create dental treatment plans and coordinate oral health care during patient consultations. 
• Ensure treatment plan is reviewed with each family and receive informed consents for treatments services. 
• Deliver quality dental care to every patient. 
• Repair decayed and broken teeth through restoration techniques, potentially extract teeth, and restore edentulous areas. 
• Adhere to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations, HIPPA and OSHA regulations. 
• Provide leadership and direction to clinical support staff in all areas of patient treatment.
