Research at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) extends well beyond oral health care, affecting many other areas of human health. Our scientists perform basic and clinical research in a wide range of areas, from prevention of caries, periodontal disease and dry mouth, to new treatments for leukemia, hospital-acquired Staph infections and cystic fibrosis. Our researchers are highly motivated, resourceful and excited by the work that they do.
