Five NJDS classes, each marking a landmark anniversary year, celebrated at the DAA's Reunion and Recognition Dinner, held at the Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ. More than 200 attended the event.

     Five alumni-one from each decade of NJDS's 50-year history-received special recognition for significant contributions that have had an impact on dentistry and NJDS. The honorees have demonstrated dedication to their profession through excellence in teaching, community service, patient care, participation in organized dentistry and/or philanthropy.

-Peter Kudyba, DDS ('60). A member of the inaugural class, Dr. Kudyba is clinical professor of Restorative Dentistry at NJDS.

-George McLaughlin, DMD ('75). Dr. McLaughlin is a clinical associate professor of Restorative Dentistry at NJDS.

-Howard Drew, DMD ('82). Dr. Drew is a clinical professor of Periondontics and the director of implantology at NJDS.

-Elisa Velazquez, DMD ('99). Dr. Velaquez is a pediatric dentist with practices in Toms River & Manahawkin, NJ.

-Ryan Sheridan, DMD ('09). Dr. Sheridan is a prosthodontic resident at Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio.
