October, 1997 is when the premier issue had its debut. The concept of the publication was to inform the NJDS Alumni of new dental techniques, problems found by other alumni that may effect you and, of course, keep you informed on how the Alumni Association effects future dentists on campus.

Table of contents:

Features:

Laying Off Latex: Alumna Ellen Patterson ('92) overcame a debilitating allergy to continue practicing dentistry, and now she shares the hard lessons she learned.

Golfers Go for the Green: There was no hole-in-one, but there's $25,000 in the Oku Scholarship Fund after this year's golf outing.

Confident Choice in Continuing Education: Life is full of choices, but NJDS makes one decision easier: Where to go for lifelong earning.
